As part of his Eagle Scout project, Sam Schwebach and his Boy Scout troop relocated the Butterfly Garden from our west entrance and incorporated it into the Rain Garden on the south-east side of our property. As a result, the larger memorial garden will attract more butterflies while also purifying building runoff before it heads into Minnehaha Creek. Thank you, Sam, for managing this very thoughtful project. | |

"We believe that a school like St. David's Center and the services that it provides are essential to the growth of young children. We are so grateful for our experience at St. David's Center and feel that other families should also have the ability to partake in the services and have the benefits that we have been so lucky to receive."
- Rob and Angilea McNae

Complicated but Not Impossible
Born with neurological deficits that compromise everything from balance to speech to eating, Thor has faced one challenge after another for all four years of his life. Referred to St. David's Center by his doctor, he currently receives occupational and speech therapies, and attends preschool in an inclusive classroom through a scholarship funded by donations at our 2010 Gala. "Thor is making tremendous strides," explains his mom, Shelly. "He's thriving here and he loves it." Learn more about Thor's Story and how your generous gift to our Annual Fund Campaign will help so many children who face tremendous obstacles. |
